Summer Dreams was made for the Rhododendron Needlers Quilt Guild summer challenge of 2003. The object was to incorporate the “ugly” fabric selected for the challenge. Here it is used for the beach towel and cartoon style bubbles. The message of the quilt is that even when we are in the most idyllic of places we often long to be somewhere else. |
