Why did the Chicken cross the Road? 20” H x 28” W

| The challenge was to interpret a childhood riddle in a single, punch line moment. "Why did the chicken cross the road?" was the most obvious choice. The common answer being "to get to the other side". More creative answers would include something enticing on the other side of the road. When pondering this quilt the eureka moment was to update the answer for the adult quilter. What would appeal to a quilter to change her course? A fabric sale would. What better store for a chicken quilter than Hencocks Fabrics? |  |
